昭和１１年に造られた頃は、木橋だったそうです。堤防沿いには、桜の木が
立ち並び、川には櫓が組まれ踊りも披露されたそうです。船を浮かべ優雅に
周辺の人々が「春の訪れ」を楽しんでおられたとのことです。
